The platform enables eligible merchants to accept payments from global card networks like Visa, Mastercard, and Verve, alongside digital wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

Targeting cross-border sectors such as tourism, e-commerce, and export, transactions through GLASS are settled in naira via regulated Nigerian banking rails.

This launch highlights a growing effort by Nigerian payment processors to capture the valuable Africa-Asia trade corridor by integrating directly with dominant Chinese platforms like Alipay and WeChat Pay.
