TeKnowledge and Equinix partner to accelerate hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure across West Africa

TeKnowledge, a technology services company with over 2,000 engineers including a strong Nigerian base, has partnered with Equinix, operator of more than 280 data centres and over 10,000 customers globally, to deliver hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure across West Africa.

The partnership targets enterprises and public sector organisations in Nigeria and the wider West African region, addressing growing demand for cloud services, AI workloads, cybersecurity resilience, and data sovereignty compliance within national borders.

The collaboration will serve financial services and fintech, telecoms, government, energy, healthcare, and digital-native enterprises, offering low-latency private connectivity, in-country data hosting, and infrastructure aligned with Nigeria's Digital Transformation Agenda and National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.
